| We have been having a hoot of a time promoting Courtney’s branch at Bethany and Allen Heights (and by “we,” I mean “she”). I’ve been enjoying this Daily Photo thing. I get photographers block at times and can’t see anything, but then I get out the rut and things are fine. I’m really excited about my brother Jon’s new music project, which he will be releasing in a few days. Check out his web site at www.myspace.com/gojonbear.

| The most recent house projects have been trimming trees and putting up crown moulding. We built our first fire in our fireplace a few nights ago. It worked out nicely because we burned some of the wood from the trimmed trees. Other than that, I have been having fun playing Settlers of Catan with the guys from our Sunday school class. I think we’re all pretty much addicted to it. At the Super Bowl party, the girls watched the game, while the guys played Settlers (two of them had brought their sets, just in case we got the urge). I have also added a new page to my web site http://www.isaacphotogallery.com/dailyphoto.html. It is a kind of photo blog on what I am shooting every day.

We are the proud owners of a new house! Courtney and I closed on our house in Allen, Texas on Wednesday. We had three Thanksgiving meals. I am so sick of eating. I took a few photos of the sisters, and did a quick portrait of the Barnoskie clan.

| It has been an eventful 24 hours. We received a tip from our real estate agent that another agent had shown the house and that the folks were putting in an offer. We had been preparing everything so that we could make an offer, but we were just a few documents short. There were a lot of phone calls and emails going back and forth, and we faxed some of the final forms at 11:00 P.M. last night. They accepted our offer over the other folks and we did some negotiating. Now we are just doing some final paperwork. If inspections and everything else goes well, we will be magically transformed into Allenites! Thanks for the prayers. Did I mention that I had a few papers due, orders to fill, a full time job, and that Courtney is working overtime while all of this has been going on?

We had a good time at the October carnival with the Franklins, and here are the beautiful princesses Kennedy and Ellie.
The Verdigris soccer festival went well too. The booth was busy from beginning to end with people looking through the photos and posters, placing orders, and picking up prints.
In other news, Courtney and I are negotiating on a house in Allen. Hopefully it will be ours, and then I can post a photo of the house. Exciting stuff! | | |
